According to Houston Chronicle real estate blogger Nancy Sarnoff, Sam’s Club is expected to start construction on a store this spring in Pearland. The store is to be located on the southbound 288 feeder at Discovery Bay Drive (between Shadow Creek Parkway and 518) . An October opening is anticipated.
Daylight Saving Time began on Sunday, March 13th and will return to Standard Time on Sunday, November 6th at 2am.
Don’t forget to change your clocks, your smoke detector batteries, your watches, house phones, the clock in your car, and anyplace else you have a clock that doesn’t automatically reset like your computer or cell phone.

The good news from Harris County Public Health is that the cooler temperatures later this week could diminish the mosquito numbers.
Recommendations from people also include Cutter spray; apple cider vinegar in shallow dishes; and boiling garlic in water, adding that to a gallon of water with some kitchen soap, and spraying the yard and bushes. Apparently mosquitos don’t like Italian food.
